Google allows paid apps in Android Market

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - February 13, 2009

Google is finally accepting paid apps into the Android Market. This almost certainly means we'll see better apps for Android. Yes, it does suck to have to pay for apps, but think of all the developers who will not contribute content to Android on the hope they can sell their app.

US and UK developers can publish apps with end-user pricing. Those apps will be available in the store mid-next week. Germany, Austria, Netherlands, France and Spain will get the same support later in Q1.
