iPhone coming to Verizon?

Rumors are flying today about a possible CDMA iPhone coming to Verizion. Unnamed tipsters say Apple is working on a CDMA iPhone for Verizon to be announced and released next year. This is only a rumor at this point so take it with a huge grain of salt.
In the relative short term this could be good for Apple because Verizon is a huge carrier and could bring new customers. On the other hand CDMA is a dying technology so how much sense would it make to build a CDMA phone when most people around the world use GSM phones. Stay tuned.
