Motorola has announced the A728 Linux-based smart phone. It offers a ton of communication features and mobile office necessities including intelligent handwriting, PIM and email capability, SyncML support, speech recognition dialing, hands-free connections, "Power Word" dictionary and Yahoo! Messenger.
The handset is based on the Linux-Java software platform. It comes with an integrated camera, MPEG4 video player, as well as MP3 ringtones. It has 8 MB of internal memory and supports Wap 2.0.
