How Paris Hilton's Sidekick Was Hacked

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - May 19, 2005

The Washington Post has an indepth article about how Paris Hilton's Sidekick was hacked. Brian Krebs, a staff writer at the Washington Post, details how a group of kid hakcers got access to the T-Mobile system and eventually to Paris Hilton's sidekick.

The whole thing started off with an old-fashioned con where one of the kids called T-Mobile and tricked them into giving them access to a private web site that had a database of customer phone numbers. The hackers already knew they could gain access to any Sidekick that they had the phone number for so they simply needed the phone number of their target, Paris. After a few searches of famous names they came found Paris Hilton's phone number. Once inside her phone they discovered some nude pictures and the rest is history.
