T-Mobile U.S.A. has dropped the iPAQ h6315 Pocket PC which faced performance complaints and stability problems. Many customers were unhappy that this device lacked a built-in keyboard and was frankly not quite as "slick" as other Pocket PC Phones (like the XDA model). T-mobile was the only carrier in the United States offering this device. The h6315 is no long listed on the T-Mobile web site, and it has reportedly been pulled from all stores.
As its replacement HP has announced the arrival of the iPAQ hw6500, a cellular-wireless Pocket PC expected to debut in April 2005. The iPAQ hw6500 will include a faster processor, a built-in keyboard, and a GPS receiver.
