The Nokia 6620 features lots of bells and whistles including a 65,000 color TFT screen for viewing still images and video clips captured by the integrated camera. The camera takes pictures at 640x480 resolution (VGA) and has a 2X digital zoom and a self-timer. The 6620 can also play real-time video streams downloaded over the EDGE network using the built-in RealOne mobile player.
The 6620 which includes Bluetooth, 40MB of RAM, and the Symbian OS, enables multimedia messaging with the use of SMIL (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) technology. SMIL allows images, sounds and text to be built into a single MMS message, and can be received in exactly the order intended by the sender.
The Nokia 6620 runs on GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/1900/1800 MHz networks and should be available in the second quarter of 2004.
