KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has released a new research report of his expectations for Apple's product launches in 2013. Mr. Kuo has had a pretty good record of predicting Apple launches in the past, making his report very interesting. Kuo believes Apple will focus its releases on the third quarter of the year.
Mr. Kuo predicts two new iPhone models, a retina iPad Mini, new iPad, and refreshed laptops, but no new HDTV. Apple will instead refresh its current Apple TV box.
The iPhone 5S will supposedly launch sometime in the summer, and Apple will release a lower priced iPhone sometime later. The lower cost iPhone will resemble the iPhone 5, but will use a plastic case and thicker design. It will be available in six different colors.
All of this is rumor at this point, but Mr. Kuo has been accurate in the past.
