Facebook has released their official SDK for Android developers today. The SDK allows developers to design apps that communicate directly with Facebook's system. Unlike the iPhone SDK, the Android edition of the Facebook SDK has the Graph API that was displayed at Facebook’s f8 developer’s conference last month. The Android SDK also includes the OAuth authentication version 2.0, which enables the user to publish stories to Facebook via Feed forms.
About 100 million users access Facebook via their mobile phones so the release of this SDK is good news for Android. Developers will now be able to develop apps that expand the use of Facebook for Android users.
