AT&T to offer no strings iPhone 3G

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - March 18, 2009

Beginning March 26th AT&T will offer the 8GB and 16GB iPhone without a contract. The no-commitment prices are $599 and $699. That's a hefty price for a phone, but even at these prices the iPhones are sure to move.

You'll likely need an active AT&T line to purchase the phone, but at least you won't have to make a commitment. All carriers should offer this with every phone. Trying to sucker you into a phone contract is so old by now. Give us the option to do what we want and we'll gladly pay a higher price.
