Verizon launches visual voicemail

News - By: pdaBlast! Staff - August 12, 2008

Verizon has finally launched their visual voicemail service. Just like the iPhone, Verizon's service lets you see who has left a voicemail before you listen to it. Users scroll through a voicemail inbox and select which voicemails to listen to.

Verizon is charging $3 per month, and you can store up to 40 messages for 40 days. You can also create up to 10 caller ID-based greetings so you can personalize your voicemail greetings.

At this point you'll need a LG Voyager phone to try the service.
