Nokia launches the N78 in the US

Nokia has launched the Nokia N78 in the US. The N78 is an entry-level model in Nokia's N-series of multimedia smartphones.

The Nokia N78 features the Symbian S60 Feature Pack 2 adding better device performance, usability enhancements, and security enhancements to the phone. It also features Wi-Fi and 3G as well as Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP, and a built-in FM-transmitter.

This N78 includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and 20x digital zoom. It has the ability to record MPEG-4 VGA video at 15 fps. A secondary camera is also on-board to facilitate video calling in supported markets.

The Nokia N78 is available now for $580 from Nokia.
