T-Mobile G1 users have a bit of news to celebrate. A tethering application is coming to the Android OS. Brighthand is reporting that a representative from PDANet developer June Fabrics has signaled a tethering application is on the way for Android.
As a company spokesperson told Brighthand, "we do not support G1 currently. However, we do plan to support it in the future."
For those who want to try a tethering app now, check out Tetherbot at the link below. It's not a full blown tethering app but it might do the trick. Their web site says, "this is an experimental SOCKS proxy and Port Bouncer that should allow you to connect your laptop to the internet using the internet connection (EDGE, 3G or Wifi) of your T-Mobile G1 Cellphone."
