Korean handset maker Pantech announced it has launched the PT-S130, the world’s first Bluetooth enabled digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) mobile phone. The Pantech PT-S130 features a rotating 2.4-inch LCD screen, which allows users to view movies and TV from an enhanced perspective. The phone also has two 3D stereo speakers offering different modes of sound quality.
According to Telecoms Korea, Dr. Moon S. Song, President & CEO, Pantech&Curitel Communications said "The PT-S130 is a major step forward, in terms of the range of functionality that users can enjoy on a single handset. By applying Bluetooth technology to DMB handsets, Pantech&Curitel has opened a new chapter in the mobile phone space, cementing its leading position in the industry."
