Samsung has sought and been awarded a patent on a method of deleting SMS messages sent from your phone. The process involves sending an SMS to a handset then being able to later send a "delete" command to the same phone to erase the SMS from the phone's memory. The only problem is that if the first message was already read, the delete command will obviously not work.
The patent is aimed at people who mass broadcast messages and accidentally include incorrect addresses in their mailing list.
